Feel like a car company could make a lot of money selling a small, very simple car with almost no tech.
I say this because our old car (2005) is a lot cheaper and easier to maintain than our new car (2015 Honda Fit), which has a bunch of dumb tech shit in it.
@normcharlatan Isn’t the problem that all the margin is made in the silly tech stuff they put in and markup? In a small simple car the money would just be made on the loan.
@normcharlatan $18k brand new and runs on fun. Had it for a year and still think about it. kbb.com/mitsubishi/mir…
@normcharlatan Agreed! I would also love to see a small (not micro) and simple truck like the Toyota and Datsun/Nissan pickups from the 80s and 90s. Everything is so huge and complicated now!
@normcharlatan @TaylorTrader923 They wouldn’t make any profits. Most of profits are generated with the options offered.
