Did up another #ElectronShepherd #AVEHDMI on a #Nintendo #Wii #CPU01. I must say that this particular revision of motherboards is one of the easiest to install with all the readily accessible soldering points for the shortest wire runs.

This one is great! I just got model 0601A (100W) and it is much stronger than expected. Of course not as powerful as the large blowers with mains cable, but much more handy.
Here’s a handy and nifty jet blower from AE that packs quite a punch! Great for a quick dusting and comes with a vacuum (albeit weaker) function as well. Only other negative I can think of is the expected short battery life of around 10-15 minutes at full blast.

Very late night of installing this modbo 5 remake from @AngryHelder This was a fun one. Although the picfix needed a 2k ohm resistor to boot, and acted weird.. but I think we’re good now! Methylene bluetooth mod from @Gusse__ too ✌️
Looks very nice and digital is better in my experience as the Pots on analog PSU wear out relatively quick.

@nosIndulgences I knew it would be the adhesive that would do better. Probably best to stick with the cheap stuff though, at least for me
@nosIndulgences Yes! They pretty much stay where you put them without any adhesive, but I use a bit of UV resin for good measure 🙂
@nosIndulgences Yep! Takes a second to melt the insulation when sliding into solder, but if you happen to hold the tweezers too close to the area being heated, it will expose the wire very quickly! 🙈
Some more pics of the Modbo installation using some really nice red 30 AWG PVDF insulated wire recommended by @nosIndulgences! Yes.. I went with the longer wire route this time.. dont judge me! 😆
