Public loos are terrifying with Tourette’s but this was genuinely the most unexpected reaction I’ve dealt with. I had a friend wait for me outside. He asked why, and I said “in case I get in trouble.” So when I start the hover squat I was whistling and this lady shouted SHUTUP! So I tic’d SHUTUP back. She said it again, so now I’m stressed and We got stuck in a loop. Then she grunted and I grunted. I thought either we both have Tourette’s or she’s VERY angry. So I opened my door unsure of what was going to happen. It was neither. She was looking at the ceiling butt naked, smacking the side of the stall while screaming “You have no power over me!!!” So all my friend sees is me speeding past him with women’s screams coming from behind me. He didn’t even ask any questions he just started running with me. 😅
