Sometimes turn off dark mode from that phone.

Back in 2021 I interviewed at Vercel and I failed badly. I couldn’t implement a debounce function and was stuck for like 30 minutes. It was pretty embarrassing. 10 months later (2022) I interviewed again and got the job. Don’t give up!

File Upload UI Animated

@Crownzdesigns @orevbajohn_ Congrats 🎉

Another mobile demo: a smooth animation should handle a second tap as well as the first The video below compares three responses -- the first version ignores the tap, the second reverses from its current position but resets its speed, the third keeps its momentum, slows down, then reverses That’s why the third reversal feels smoother

THE MERCY OF GOD HAS PREVAILED!!!

@dodoo_darling I had similar experience just finished watching it the plot mehn!!!

Hmm, @GoogleWorkspace, you guys are being shady with this 😆 Story time guys… I paid for my Google Workspace in April (I chose the starter plan at the beginning). A few months later, I noticed the billing got so much higher than what I started with. When I started, I paid approximately €7.29/mo per user for the first 12 months. Then later, I started paying over €50 for 3 users. I couldn’t understand what was piling up on the bills but didn’t bother for a while. Then I had an outstanding bill to pay; based on my calculations, it was meant to be under €48. Imagine my surprise when I saw €101 😂 That was when I had enough and said I’ll figure out why the cost is high. On a closer look, I realized I was paying for the standard plan, €14.58/mo for the first 12 months. I searched online to see if that happened before, where a pricing plan was switched. Then I found out @Google does it themselves. If you subscribe for a workspace starter plan, Google frequently drops users onto a “14-day free trial” of business standard by default. “For them to showcase its premium features, assuming you will either stick with it or downgrade before the trial ends” Now that may not be a problem IF YOU ARE AWARE OF THE TRIAL!!! But, like me, some of us will move on with our lives thinking we are on the starter plan, cause we don’t need 2TB of storage as a new business. The annoying thing is the downgrade button is hidden too 😂 I wasn’t aware I was on a trial till it exceeded months, and I’ve been paying for the business standard plan. I decided that’s just shady and wanted to downgrade. Guess how many minutes it took me to find a downgrade button (17mins!!!), and I had to search online for where it was 😆 Now, after downgrading, I thought it was over. Then I saw my account had been suspended. Why? We were over the storage limit and needed to upgrade back to standard. But here's the thing: the starter plan comes with 30GB, while standard comes with 2TB. I am very aware that we aren't close to 20GB in storage; we haven't even gotten to 10GB. That's when I had to check the workspace storage to see that we are over 1GB. So where is the rest of the 29GB??? Well, @GoogleWorkspace decided to set the storage limit to 0GB by default when a user subscribes to the starter plan prompting them to upgrade to standard. Cause my account was "over the limit" for storage, it got suspended, and I had just paid for my workspace (standard plan) before realizing all this. I changed the storage setting to reflect the 30GB, and the suspension hasn't been lifted yet. I'm currently waiting for 24hrs to see what changes. @Google @GoogleWorkspace This is some pure dark UX you guys have got going on. A very irritating experience.
