We’ve been on a similar journey at @dashversetech — figuring out analytics at scale. Building on top of open-source (@OpenPanelDev) + heavy internal optimisations. Today, we’re able to handle ~7–8 billion events/month without relying on expensive third-party tools.

Currently we are figuring out how to manage analytics in-house for around 100M events a month. From the outside, analytics looks simple. Track events, store them, query them. But when you actually sit down to build or even evaluate it at scale, reality hits differently. PostHog

Was filing tax returns as usual, but this time capital gains were a pain — 2 types (LTCG & STCG) × 2 periods (before & after 23rd July change). Almost went to ClearTax, then thought: why not try an LLM? Uploaded my capital gains file + a few IT portal screenshots… and voilà!

Paytm uses sound box not just for payment notification but as medium of communication for all sorts of information they want to provide to their sound box users. I am just wondering if the same can be used for advertisements to offset the cost of sound box 🤔
