@nut_meggy This ^^ is the problem. People who think like her are in charge. We need adults back at the helm.
@nut_meggy Yah what do think they will do pack up move across the border and the jobs with them . Yah good idea 😂
@nut_meggy Not a good policy, just means less growth, slower economy that's already grinding by, job cuts, hiring freeze and wage freeze.
@nut_meggy Your comment tells me you don’t own or work for a small medium or large business.
Meg, why is the carbon tax imposed on consumers of energy and not on the producers? Because imposing it on the producers would result in it getting passed onto the consumers (as your Dear Leader Trudeau argued). Lets use your Dear Leader's logic here, who do you think is going to end up paying for these extra costs? Canadians. And where do you think Trudeau is going to be sending the extra tax revenue money to? Somewhere overseas for sure. Whose going to get laid off work to cover some of these additional costs as well? Canadians. So who does this punish? Canadians. We end up paying for it one way or another and the Ukraine ends up with a few billion more.
@nut_meggy You probably lack financial literacy. While we both acknowledge the shortcomings of trickle-down economics in generating profits, rest assured that companies will likely transfer the burden of any extra taxes onto you
@nut_meggy This is a dirty cash grab to scoop all the capital gains boomers going to leave on the table when they die. It's just a roundabout inheritance tax under the guise of going after ThE rIcH 50% of boomers have more than $250k in their retirement investment portfolios. Grow up.
