🇺🇸JEFFREY SACHS: [Commenting on remarks by UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron regarding the Iranian response to the Israeli attack on the Iran's Consulate in Damascus.] "I've learned something over the years—I know David Cameron personally, and I know a lot of British leaders. For a long time, I just loved listening to them because they speak English so beautifully. But what they say is so absurd, so stupid, yet it's so beautiful that it really had me fooled for many decades. The British are the worst at this; they're even worse than the Americans because they had a longer imperial reign. What empire does is make you so arrogant that you think you can say anything and squash anyone that opposes you. It becomes a game to see what you can say that's so outrageous but so authoritative that you can get away with it. And so, the British are the most hypocritical country in modern times. They're not the most powerful—they used to be the most powerful—but they're the most hypocritical because they had the most violent, militaristic empire in the modern world. They left behind all of these problems. Now, they want to be a sidekick of the United States, cheerleading on but with their good old imperial ideas. It's a kind of absurdity at this point, but it's a lot of nerve because—why are we in such a crisis in the Middle East? Because Britain wrecked the Middle East after World War I."

@nxt888 great @mrjamesob could reflect & improve his arrogance towards vegetarians. hoping he & millions of Brits can do same re imperialism. they've been terribly misled about what harm their govt does around planet & made to believe far less harmful ppl are the problem.
@nxt888 You're all wrong. Truly bad analysts.
@nxt888 I watched it on Youtube. Highly recommended. This man should be a POTUS, the whole world would be a better place.
"For a long time, I just loved listening to them because they speak English so beautifully. But what they say is so absurd, so stupid, yet it's so beautiful that it really had me fooled for many decades." I believe my genetic heritage from both parent's side of my genetic code must somehow have protected me from being fooled in such a way. My father's side of being 'American' goes back from after Ireland and Scotland to east then, west slope colonization of Appalachian mountains in far east Tennessee region a couple generations prior to British Empire's mesonorthamerican colonies' united secession from London's genocidally tyrannical, resource thieving, slave-trading, oligarchic empire. By the time in u.s. when the "Monty Python Show" was popular, my sense of seemingly physical revulsion to the sound of the "English imperial accent" was solidified. I have similar revulsion toward aussie english accent that i find revoltingly different from Kiwi and Afrikaner spoken english which usually i actually enjoy hearing spoken.
@nxt888 "Hey guys, it's not Israel and its lobbies, it's an empire that has been defunct for 70 years!"
@nxt888 Britain may have lost its empire, but it hasn't lost its knack for talking big, moralizing others and hypocrisy, all while dodging responsibility.
@nxt888 I do not agree with Judge Napolitano on a number issues, but his show definitely has among the best guests on the Internet, and his stance on Ukraine and Israel is absolutely correct.
@nxt888 Imperialism doesn't die voluntarily. It has to be confronted and starved.
