Mike Pence on Friday challenged the entire 2024 Republican presidential field to support a national abortion ban at 15 weeks, demanding that the party go further than its primary front-runner, Donald Trump, has so far been willing to go. nyti.ms/43UTuzr
@nytimes I agree with him BECAUSE it acknowledges the existence of the abortion pill. Since the pill exists, abortion up to 12 weeks will occur. All we're doing now is negotiating between 12 and 15. I'd also make an abortion pill that is effective after 12 weeks illegal.
@nytimes NO @Mike_Pence at anytime. Don’t compromise with the party controlled by $PlannedHood$.
@nytimes Does Mother know that he was going to say that?
@nytimes This @Mike_Pence? Yea dude you’ve done enough damage to our party so sit down and shut up.
@nytimes I respect Pence but couldn't disagree with him more.
@nytimes “his statement that Mr. Biden must never been re-elected” is a typo for “his statement that Mr. Biden must never *be re-elected.” Missing comma in “Washington D.C.” Par for the course, @ShaneGoldmacher.
@nytimes That’s one way to lose the general election before the campaign starts.
@nytimes This is standard across Europe. Abortion in America is still the wild west.
@nytimes I have no problem with 15 weeks. 12 should do.
@nytimes Nope! Women should be allowed to make their own healthcare choices. Politicians should stay out of these most personal decisions.
