💡 Canvas Protip #1 One of the easiest ways to populate the canvas is to drag and drop items (files or folders) from the File Explorer!
💡 Canvas Protip #2 Snapping. While dragging or resizing, the Canvas has two types of snapping. - Object snapping: edges will snap to any object in the viewport along a given axis. - Grid snapping: edges will snap to the background grid.
You toggle grid snapping in the controls at the top right corner of the canvas. You can temporarily disable snapping while dragging by holding down Space on the keyboard. If you hold Shift, snapping will only apply to one axis (X or Y).
💡 Canvas Protip #3 Zoom to fit & Zoom to selection One of the fastest ways to zip around your canvas is with these two zoom commands. "Zoom to fit" will attempt to fit your entire canvas into the viewport by zooming out and centering the view on your cards.
"Zoom to selection" is a fast way to zoom in and center your selected cards. Zoom in with 1 selected card or 10, it doesn't matter! Zoom to selection: activate it from the floating selection menu or Shift + 2 Zoom to fit: there's a button in the canvas controls menu or Shift + 1
