Ukrainian forces are mounting a major missile and drone raid into western Russia tonight. Russian channels describe the raid as the largest in weeks, with hundreds of drones in the air, and hits already reported.

In Russian media today: The number of loss-making industries in Russia has increased almost fourfold – from 3 to 11 in the first seven months of 2026, according to Izvestia. In addition to the coal industry, passenger transport, and postal services, metallurgy, the automotive industry, woodworking, sports, museums, and insurance companies are now also operating at a loss.
