finally read the last volume MADK and now I'm just sitting here screaming internally it was PERFECT. like i can agree that it was a little bit rushed but thematically? IMMACULATE. makes the brain go brrr. LOVE IS A CURSE and sometimes obsession gets so close it's almost the same

what i wouldnt give to have a good publisher pick up amatsuki, haigakura and busshi no busshin. like talk about series that get nerfed because lack of mythological / historical / literary references

Thinking about working on idle spirit again these days...I still want to finish it some time. But knowing I would need to weed through and rewrite makes me feel tired already lol

been watching The Bear & all I can think of is skfs chefs!AU where: Megumi is bored & burnt out from being in Michelin starred kitchens. Sick of tweezing things into place. Sick of plating overpriced cubes & gels that require 12 people 3 days to prepare. Sick of sheer wankery.

all being part and parcel of some larger thing that got pulled apart and sealed away. i also think all the body hopping makes it clear that cursed technique is more tied to the body than anything else. maybe has to do with the way the body is adapted to channel curse energy

ANYWAY. I want to know what mahoraga's deal is, and what the 10S endgame is!!! that little ominous revolving dharma wheel, that ceremonial spinal piece that started showing up after Megumi developed domain expansion...lol it makes me wonder about the manifestations of 10S +

that panel in the "bath" with him otherwise. talk about jj sanpo stills coming back to bite us in the ass!!

those where the moments where we got to see more of his interest and motivations and decisionmaking. i feel like that window has been shut again now that megumi is gone. lol i am waiting for him to come back because i dont think there would have been a point of showing +

also i want megumi back lol. tbh sukuna taking over and then there being zero interaction was exactly the type of thing that had me uninterested in the yuuji and sukuna dynamic. it's interesting that Megumi ended up being subsumed semicompletely +

haha if i dont have enough reading comprehension thats on me but i dont find domain and barrier rules lawyering to be that interesting

if i need a ESPN play by play to understand whats going on i also sort of feel that the visual part of a visual medium has maybe been a bit lost

i think what really kills me about the sukuna + gojou fight is that ...maybe i dont pay enough attn to usage of domains and barriers, but imo there's too much explaining and not enough showing of the techniques to understand what's going on
