The last few Ulver albums, for me, have been a real mix of good and bad. 'ATGC...' was fine, 'Flowers of Evil' had zip staying power. 'The Assassination of Julius Caesar' though, is a career pinnacle and killer throughout. This song is just *gorgeous*. 💅 youtu.be/Y4pJf_v9U5A

Very chill weekend in Vermont with beer, cider, lakes. Hit a single record store, and scored Cathedral - 'The Ethereal Mirror' for a few dollars. Possibly their most boogylicious record, : a lot of hand-clapping to riffs and sashaying at stop lights on the way back to Montreal.🕺

Belfast's Terminus popped up in the early 2010s, and dropped 'The Reaper's Spiral', a very satisfying sci-fi HM banger. Saw them slay at Up The Hammers, before they contracted to just two members, and shamefully, I still haven't heard the follow-up. Nonetheless, killer rekkid.

Mighty. Superior. Here is the house to be stricken by might! ⚔️ Isen Torr were so perfect on this short EP, their only offering. Tony Taylor at the height of his powers. Killer tone and leads. Every second of it heavy as a bastard.
