Atop Wudan, long before facing men, I first had to battle ideas, emotions.
Showing fear won't serve you. Fight. ATTACK. You can be scared later.
Adepts' hands are the weapons of Wudan.
Po was observing the adepts from a seated position. He looked exactly the same, but everything just FELT different. I can’t tell you if he was enraged or heartbroken, But he was feeling something so strongly that every adept sensed it.
After descending Wudan, I learned a warrior doesn't belong in the peace of civilization. He cannot resign the fight in his heart completely. My return to the mountain was fast.
Atop Wudan, we were warned not to indulge in beauty. It distracts from inner rage. It tames your soul.
The air smelt of the moon. The night perfectly still. The blue light filled Wudan. But something was tonight... I was not tired. To call this uncharacteristic is an understatement. After a whole day of training, I just wanted to rest. But not tonight. I wanted trouble.
After my century atop Wudan, I was waking up enraged. Looking for a fight. A fight against everything. My fear, my fatigue, my mistakes. The brutality of training was sweet release.
To move mountains with your will, The body must follow suit. Mentality and physicality are deeply attuned.
When you reach a high enough level of power, You truly understand you will die.
