Nigel Farage being the main voice shut down by the left at a conference of Conservatives is another disaster for Rishi Sunak. That's why No10 put out a punchy statement. Farage is becoming de facto leader of right-wing voters without even being a full time politician.
@oflynnsocial @MikeSwadling @Nigel_Farage is a strategic genius.
@oflynnsocial I listened to Nigel when he came to Portsmouth during the Brexit campaign Patrick. He promised if given the chance defence spending would go up to 2%. And I believe he would try.
@oflynnsocial In a Conservative Party so devoid of conservatives, we need a Nigel come back.
@oflynnsocial At this point it seems to me Nigel Farage has got the size of the Labour majority in his hands. If he was to tell reform voters (I know he won’t but it’s a hypothetical) the expected Labour majority would drop a fair bit
@oflynnsocial 👍. Walk in the park for Nigel and Sunak has nothing to offer
@oflynnsocial Which is only fair as the tories react to his fine instincts 5 years after he does. And then when they do it’s not out of conviction, but because it’s got to the stage where they have no choice and it’s the best thing to do for themselves…not the nation.
@oflynnsocial I can’t understand why he wouldn’t want to be PM Esther rather than on TV. He would tear them apart in the HoC and make that place serious and stop the Pantomine.
@oflynnsocial Meanwhile..
@oflynnsocial Yesterday, the Nat Con grouping became a Farage vehicle.
