Do you want God to give you a big platform? He might make your wishes come true. He might give you a big platform to sanctify you. Or he might give you a big platform to destroy you. Remember, God gave Pharaoh and Judas big platforms. Don’t pursue a platform, pursue Christ.

I've been reflecting long and hard on 1 Cor. 13, awe-struck by what those verses are asking me to do (and not do!) for the sake of love. I fail daily, and I constantly hurt myself and others. But, praise God, though I fail, He uses those moments to teach and humble me 🙌💕
A Christian is someone who hates no one and hates that he’s ever felt hatred toward anyone, though he hates all sin—particularly his own.
Hearing an opinion you don’t agree with is not a sign that you are in danger. Instead of attacking, listen well. It’s part of how God takes a juvenile spirit and grows it up.
The woman at the well exhorted the people to, "Come see a man who told me all the things that I have done" (John 4:29). That is not the Jesus many Christians want—the Jesus who shows us our sin. We want only His blessing—as if showing us our sin isn't a blessing (Romans 2:4).

Although he said more about hell than most other subjects, Jesus had a very short fuse with those who appeared enthusiastic about the idea of people suffering eternally.
We'll sooner sneeze a Mercedes into existence than our good works will make God love us more than he already does in Jesus.
