If you have left Nigeria for the past 5 years and haven’t returned trust me you aren’t missing out on anything, I am currently visiting Nigeria and I have been shouting blood of Jesus, this place is not meant for humans. The quality of life is the worst I have ever seen

ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020 Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country. On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life. We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice. As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights. Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future. May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated. A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO

We've not forgotten. October, 20th 2020. It's 6yrs already. Fly high heroes! 🕯️🕊️

I cried like a baby today. I went to Mushin to buy foodstuffs, and before I could finish buying groceries, over 46 Nigerians had approached me for financial help, even if it was just to buy rice and Maggi so their families could eat. Middle aged men and women. This administration has finally destroyed Nigeria. Don’t make the same mistake next year.

I promise you, there used to be a time… The nation is poor and bleeding. About ten years ago, once it’s November, you’d begin to smell Christmas on the streets, in the local shops, in churches, even in schools. A lot has been stolen from us, basic things now feel like luxury.

I really hate how Nigeria doesn’t do Christmas properly. No proper Christmas markets, no stores dedicated to Christmas decor, nothingggg. You can barely find anywhere to shop for beautiful Christmas decorations. It’s so annoying because I love Christmas so much 😭🎄

Please Everyone, I need your help. From the accident, she has fractures in her hand, leg, and pelvic region. The doctor said the surgery will cost about ₦5 million. It is extensive and will be done in two phases. First they will operate on her hand and leg. When she recovers from that, they will do the pelvic region. It has been a painful experience. We have already spent so much on drugs and medications just to keep her stable this far. The pain is still there every day. A lot of you have followed this from the day of the accident. You have seen the updates. You know what this has been like. Please, if your heart can move you, even ₦1k, ₦2k, ₦5k, ₦10k, or ₦20k from you will help us. Every little bit carries weight right now. Shocked that many people are not aware of this. Henceforth, I'll be writing more on the atrocities happening in the North under this government that the media are not even reporting.

I still remember the pregnant woman who was kidnapped by bandits and gave birth to twins prematurely in captivity. The bandit leader threw her newborn twins to his dogs. As the helpless babies were being torn apart, he raped their mother, who was still bleeding from childbirth. Imagine the screams. Imagine the helplessness. Imagine a mother watching her babies d!e in the most horrifying way, unable to save them. A kind of horror no human being should ever have to witness. She couldn't bear it, she ran mad immediately. Whenever I remember that woman, a cold shiver runs through my body. Somewhere, a family is still living with the unbearable pain of what happened to their daughter and grandchildren. No amount of tears can bring those babies back. No apology can erase that nightmare from the husband. This happened late last year, under this administration. Yet, some people are already campaigning for the same APC to remain in power. How does a government explain a country where innocent citizens can be kidnapped, brutalised, dehumanized and murdered? Have we become so politically blinded that the suffering of our fellow citizens no longer moves us? Don't you feel it when people are subjected to such horrors that should only happen in zombie movies? Shouldn't their lives matter more than party loyalty? How many more mothers must we watch suffer? How many more children must d!e before the government treats our security as the emergency it is? Our lives don't matter to this government. I feel like the people supporting this government are more evil and demonic than the government.

I got off at Alaoji in Aba from Port Harcourt to head into town and saw a lady at the bus shelter with bus cards on display. I asked how much they were, and she said they were free, but I needed an Abia State Social Identification Number (ABSSIN) to get one. She registered me in

Got into an Indrive car and the driver immediately said “madam no AC o”. I said no problem, just note that I throw up when I’m hot and sweaty, and I won’t clean it up if I throw up. Baba looked back at me and immediately saw on my face that I wasn’t joking. The car AC is colder than my own car sef.
