I’m leaving YEG to wander in Europe. Unmonitored now but I’ll leave this up in case I find a cool place to do another run for @LuranaShelter. Maybe I’ll try to climb Mt. Teide or swim the English Channel instead.🤔Personal posts @shawnbryan. Many thanks to #yegvirtualrunningclub!

@runcamille Yeah, you’re right @Mandoline79 - I clearly don’t know my semi-aquatic rodents... this is definitely a lot bigger than whatever we spotted on our last run! #yegvirtualrunningclub

All done! 42.2km in 3:50:46. There were $1,735 in cheques and I’ve made my donation now so altogether we raised $6,599 for @LuranaShelter. Thanks for the support and following me on the journey! “I’m pretty tired. I think I’ll go home now.” - Forrest Gump #yegvirtualrunningclub

Thanks to @mb_b69 for the first two pics and for pacing me the last 10km (after running his first marathon last week!) and to this kid with the gorgeous Bo Bichette mop who paced me for about 5km. #yegvirtualrunningclub #fundraiser for @LuranaShelter

In the car - Me: Are my running gummy bears in there? 20: I don’t see them...you mean these? Me: Yes 20: Those aren’t bears, they’re just gummies. At the start (4:57) Lady: Do you have change? Me: I’m sorry, I have gummy bears. Want one? Lady: (walking away) This isn’t a bear.🤣

And, construction didn’t occur to me. 20: Did you clear this with the city? Me: 🤔😐

⬅️2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣🏃🏻‍♂️2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣➡️ Things are a little less crowded this year, but I’m all stretched out and ready to start my solo version of the 2020 @Edm_Marathon. Still time to pledge (link in bio)... see you in 42.2km. #yegvirtualrunningclub #fundraiser for @LuranaShelter

Headed downtown #yeg for the solo marathon. The playlist is set and it is as eclectic as me. I should be done running and hope to find a chair when the music stops. #yegvirtualrunningclub #playlist #musicalchairs #fundraiser for @LuranaShelter

@DalyceFTW @LuranaShelter Thanks 😊 I got 20 up early to drive the course beside me... or maybe he just didn’t go to bed... 🤣

It was cold (at least for me) this morning so I went a little faster on my 5km than I’d planned to keep warm. Training is all done, now a few days to eat well, rest, and make sure not to hurt myself doing something stupid.🤪 #yegvirtualrunningclub #fundraiser for @LuranaShelter

Just finished my penultimate training run of 2020. All that’s left is a relaxed 5km jog tomorrow before the run. #yeg #runyeg #yegvirtualrunningclub #fundraiser for @LuranaShelter

Ran with a couple #yegvirtualrunningclub members this weekend. 😁 Yesterday was my last long run before the marathon. Only two short training runs left. #yeg #runyeg #fundraiser for @LuranaShelter
