Always know the reason for an intervention; or for withholding one.
OH: The patient diagnosis is retro-occular dysuria. The patient says the back of his eyes hurt when he urinates. #yespain
Apparently his last interaction with us didn’t meet his expectations.
You know it is going to be a good day when a homeless man spits at you and gives you the bird as you drive by.

Turning on my lights cause people to pull in front of us and slam on their brakes. It’s the exactly opposite of what we want you to do

When asked how the patient is acting different today: “He isn’t smoking as much as usual.” #myemsday
@in_the_city sadly many EMS agencies take this stance with their medics. Don’t ask why, just follow the protocol.
