Michelangelo once said: “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” What if change for us is the same thing ? It isn't so much about becoming something different, as it is about stripping away the excess layers that weren't really us to begin with, until all that remains is the unique beauty that is YOU.
For some time now, there has been this steady increase in this narrative that things are bad, people are bad, everything is bad and we need to be fearful. It literally adds stress and affects our own well being. Not to mention, we truly are all connected, which just causes this narrative to feed on itself as more people find themselves bombarded to the point that our own personality starts changing. We withdraw from people, from new experiences, and ultimately our authentic selves. I was standing outside this evening, looking at the maple trees leaves starting to turn a beautiful red color, and the sun was setting in the background, and I realized that narrative isn't the only truth, just the one being presented to us everywhere, phones, tv, etc. There is this real, beautiful world happening right now as well. It's full of amazing people, and life changing experiences. It's up to us to choose which narrative we believe more in. Which one we want to experience in our own lives. When you find yourself, having a moment like this, as the smile spreads across your face, remind yourself that you can do this whenever you CHOOSE to. You may even have an overwhelming desire to share it with as many people as possible. Just like I'm doing with you 😁
@RobertKennedyJr can you please address some of the concerns from the MAHA supporters about the current direction and choices taking place ? What is the reason for you are supporting the mRNA technology ? Same question regarding the existing liability shield for these companies.
@Brunstucky13 @SteaknShake it's interesting that Stake and Shake is making changes that benefit literally everyone, improving the health and quality of food choices, but people still want to try and make it a political 'sides' issue.
Jeanne Calment, a French supercentenarian who holds the officially verified record for the longest human lifespan in history, living to 122 years and 164 days (1875–1997). Born in Arles, France, she lived through remarkable historical shifts, famously remembering meeting Vincent van Gogh in her family’s shop when she was a teenager. Having outlived both her daughter and her grandson, Calment found herself with no remaining living heirs in her later years, leading to one of the most famous real estate deals in modern history. In 1965, at the age of 90, Calment entered into a contingency contract known in France as en viager with a 47-year-old notary named André-François Raffray. Under the agreement, Raffray agreed to pay Calment a monthly sum of 2,500 French francs until her death, in exchange for ownership of her spacious Arles apartment once she passed. Given her advanced age, Raffray expected to pay for only a few years before inheriting the property, a standard financial gamble in French real estate. Instead, Calment lived for another 32 years, outliving Raffray himself. When Raffray died of cancer in 1995 at age 77, his family was still legally obligated to continue the monthly payments. By the time Calment finally passed away in August 1997, the Raffray family had paid her more than double the actual market value of the apartment, prompting Calment to famously remark on her 120th birthday, "In life, one sometimes makes bad deals." Beyond her famous real estate deal, Calment made pop culture history at age 121 when she released a four-track musical album titled Mistress of Time (Maîtresse du Temps). The 1996 release featured her speaking and recounting memories over a mix of background music, including funk, rap, and techno beats, making her the oldest recording artist in history. #archaeohistories
John Miller was so sick with chronic Lyme disease he was passing out and could barely take part in life. He flew to a clinic in Germany and after three weeks, he came home cured. "We heat the body to 106.8 Fahrenheit," says Dr. Julian Douwes of St. George Hospital. "It has been shown that the spirochetes, the bacteria behind Lyme disease, actually dies off at that temperature." Antibiotics can't reach chronic Lyme. "It's in the brain. It's intracellular. They have a lot of immune evading mechanisms." The idea won a Nobel Prize in 1927. Syphilis comes from the same family of bacteria as Lyme, and back then there were no antibiotics. So Julius Wagner-Jauregg injected his syphilis patients with the blood of malaria patients. The fever spikes cured them. He had 18 patients. 16 came out of a wheelchair. Meanwhile, chronic Lyme patients today are being "ignored and tossed away." "They actually have a positive lab test and people still tell them your symptoms are not valid, your symptoms do not exist, chronic Lyme doesn't exist." The treatment isn't available in the United States.
If you had trusted the settled science of the day, here is how it would have gone. 1890s: you dose the baby with Bayer's new cough syrup, the non-addictive alternative to morphine, marketed for children. It was heroin. They named it after the German for heroic. 1900s: you rub calomel teething powder on your infant's gums. It is a mercury compound, and it leaves a generation with pink disease. Swollen, peeling hands and feet, screaming for months, and some of them died. 1910s: you cook in Crisco, launched by a soap and candle company, because cottonseed oil is modern and lard is what your mother used. The process that made it solid produced trans fat, banned outright a century later. 1920s: you drink Radithor, certified radioactive water, on prescription. Eben Byers took fourteen hundred bottles for his vitality. His jaw was removed in pieces and he was buried in a lead coffin. 1930s: a chemist dissolves a new sulfa drug in diethylene glycol, which is antifreeze. It kills 107 people, mostly children, and only then does America give the FDA power to demand safety testing. 1940s: your doctor lights a Camel in the surgery. More doctors smoke them than any other brand, and the advert runs in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which sold him the page. 1950s: DDT is sprayed over your kitchen, your garden and your children at school. The man who found its insecticidal properties has already been given a Nobel Prize. 1960s: your wife takes thalidomide for morning sickness because it is remarkably safe. More than ten thousand children are born with missing and shortened limbs. 1970s: the country puts down the butter and picks up the margarine, on the instruction of the American Heart Association. The fat everybody switched to was banned in 2015 as unsafe at any level. 1980s: the fat comes out of everything and sugar goes back in to make it edible. Obesity begins a climb it has never come off. 1990s: your father is prescribed OxyContin, because fewer than one per cent get addicted. The company later pleads guilty to criminal misbranding, and the overdose count runs into hundreds of thousands. 2000s: you take Vioxx for your knee. It is pulled in 2004, and the FDA's own safety officer estimates tens of thousands of excess heart attacks. Not one of those was fringe. Every one had a professional body, a literature and a man in a white coat standing behind it. Nobody who followed that advice was stupid. They were obedient, to the most qualified people available. Settled is a word about money. It means the questions stopped being funded, so they stopped being asked. So which of today's instructions will your grandchildren read out in disbelief. The oil washed in hexane and built into every cell you own. The statin that blocks the pathway making your hormones, to prevent one heart attack per hundred people. The injection where a third of the loss is muscle. The infant formula built out of vegetable oil. All settled. None of it funded to be otherwise.
Changing your life starts with changing your mind. When you think beyond your circumstances, you create new pathways in your brain … and when your brain changes, so does your reality. bit.ly/4vTJKm0

Thank you again for all the support, from so many people. This is the final push, to make our goal and help Mark Goodman secure his place for the long term care that is required. We are almost there, thanks to all of you. 😁 gofund.me/99edcc222
My dad, Mark, is facing tough times with Parkinson's. We found a caring facility that could bring him joy, but the costs are overwhelming. Every donation helps us reach the one-year mark for assistance. gofund.me/f4bc9651f
@elonmusk awesome, and agreed. I think it was Einstein who said he had to first unlearn his education, before he could imagine solutions outside the box of what was previously known.
