Starfield's lead quest designer had 'absolutely no time' and had to hit the 'panic button' so the game would have a satisfying final quest. trib.al/UXW0NR5
@pcgamer How much is Sony paying you for the dsperate smear campaign?
@pcgamer None of that game was satisfying. How do you have absolutely no time when the game was in development for years? Isn't the story something you get down early into a game's creation?
@pcgamer My favorite thing about the community note is raising awareness to the fact that this boring game took several years to develop. Donāt think that just because it took a long time that itās more fun automatically.
A lot of the breakdown videos about Starfield on YouTube are very good - basically the story is meaningless. Tons of āitās just this way,ā and ābecause I said so,ā content. The lore isnāt nearly as good as other Bethesda games. Empty planets are boring, and your character is an explorer who canāt even explore anything. Iād say the person who made the quest line actually made the only fun part about the game other than maybe ship building. āā X Bone players you donāt need to come to the defense of this game like itās life or death, it simply wasnāt that good. PC players will tell you that but maybe thatās why those people are taken more seriously.
@pcgamer The tyranny of quarterly earnings statements strikes again.
@pcgamer Yeah I sure loved to have to choice between saving Sarah and killing Barrett or Saving Barrett and killing Sarahā¦ so original when itās the only ending that you get spanning through pointless universes
@pcgamer And people will still get hype for their gamesā¦ They've literally put out the same exact game for the last 15 years with either slightly better skins or different skins. Play Cyberpunk 2077 or No Man's Sky lol, don't waste your time with this.
@pcgamer For all itās flaws, I absolutely love Starfield. Iām currently in NG+6. I play it every once in a while, trying to get to NG+10. I have had some pretty funny experiences - One time everyone was a plant. lol.
