This is Massive, even on very modest setups. Let's crunch some numbers. Take a setup where you have a server that the CPU is 2.1GHz and you have 4 modest NVMe's, each capable of 260k IOPS. At 21.5k CPU cycles per read IOP, Windows Server 2022 would need to fully use 10.64 CPU cores. However, at 12.5k CPU cycles per read IOP, Windows Server 2025 would need to 6.19 CPU cores. If you are using a Hyper-V hyper-converged setup (I love these), and you have some NVMe, then the bottleneck you may currently have is actually CPU power. If you have NVMe, upgrading to Windows Server 2025 and enabling the Native NVMe drivers, would give you a performance boost. techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/windowsse…

@crod $20 per month for 100 over 5 years is $120k. I build a full blown infrastructure with DR for less, and gets more processing power
@crod The UK prime minister is a moron. They are lifting all C19 measures next Monday when they don't have heard immunity
@crod Camera sucks. Software sucks. So many little things that it makes it super annoying. I hope that software gets better with Android 11. I also look forward for an improved Surface Duo 2. Yet, it is really really sexy and productive.
@crod It has been my daily driver since available in Europe, around 3 or 4 months. I love the dual screen. It is so useful. Watching the news while playing a game. Replying to an email while checking the calendar or a website. No more switching back and forth. Processor speed is good.
