Amid the fallout from the @AllBlacks record defeat to the @Springboks, it dawned on me that the backline that started in Wellington was the first without a Pacific island player for the first time since ages. We lost the aerial battle and struggled to break the line. Wonder why.

Winning 5 awards was great for @andorofficial - the best drama series i've seen this year IMHO - but they were snubbed big time for the main acting gongs. Genevieve O'Reilly deserved a best actress nomination. Sci-Fi dramas never get a fair go at the @TheEmmys

The thing i've noticed from the Samoa Election is the strong HRPP support in Apia and surrounding districts (where most of the public service, business people reside), in contrast to the support for FAST which is mainly in the rural areas. Certainly tells a story.

Was expecting the Samoa 🇼🇸 election result to be a lot closer, but the people have spoken. FAST have the numbers to form the next government. SUP was all but obliterated. HRPP will still provide formidable opposition although there might be a leadership shakeup now.

Fat Freddy's Drop won't be the same without DJ Mu. He was the man behind their sound - a sound that for me really epitomised that Pacific-urban blend of dub-jazz-soul which was popular in the 2000s. Wandering Eye one of my favourites. RIP DJ Mu.

Chin up @manusamoa. Hard bringing a team together for the first time with six debutants & only ten days of preparation. Many of our team club rugby level players. Scotland had two big games as warm ups and been in camp over a month. That's context. #GoManu #SAMvSCO
