Everyone asks: will AI make insurance fairer? Yes, in two ways. 1. It prices you as you are, not as you were. Drive carefully this month, pay less next month. Your premium moves with your behavior, not your paperwork. 2. It runs cheaper. Roughly 25 cents of every premium dollar goes to running the business, before anyone even handles a claim. Insurance hasn’t changed much in 300 years. That’s about to change.
Employers are now on the hook for their health plans. The good news: this is no longer a technical problem. AI can now review every claim, not just a sample. The only bottleneck is access to the data. And that’s a contract question, not a tech one.
