@Notoldjustexpe1 @adamaofficial @NewWaveAndPunk @phatalstu @Schnitzel63 @Charles30181053 @FatOldAnarchist @russ @SkamanD14 @AsSowter Adam chose a song that sounded very far from the punk idea for his debut single. With the Ants followers which divide themselves into Black & White Ants and Colour Ants. The first in the 'Never Mind the Punk 45' Adam and the Ants "Young Parisians". #adamandtheants #punk

MEET THE ANTS #OTD 1978: Adam & the Ants play the Roxy, Covent Garden 7/1 "The first attraction was the energy - watching Adam jumping up and down like a mad man attacking sometimes band members and at other times the audience..." ~ The Roxy - A Punk History, Paul Marko

So, we were saving this for Monday's #OTD but in a terribly sad (but appropriate) change to schedule we are tonight saying goodbye and thank you to @aanightingale for bringing Adam & the Ants to the Old Grey Whistle Test. Their finest TV performance. Rest in Punk, Annie x

#TimsTwitterListeningParty [7] KINGS OF THE WILD FRONTIER Quite a lot of drums on this one. Repeated overdubbing of tom toms for hours on end. For me that was bliss. It is the title track of the album for all the right reasons. My absolute top AATA tune.
