#Life_In_A_Machine_World #TheBeginning

Real life within a virtual machine Ripe with digital human interaction Personified by black and green Cataloging our every action

From server to server, humanity pings Wired, Wireless, Satellite, Cable Fly away with virtual wings We are connected, we are able

The prophecy “Seek and you may find” Has become “Search and you shall find”

With hundreds of millions of results Freely available in under a second

The collective knowledge of the world Is all available at one’s fingertips

In the palm of each of our hands Is the all-knowing digital encyclopedia

Print medium is overrun by webpages Free, accessible and live Machines are revolutionizing the ages With new technology we can thrive

One world, earth is connected Machines facilitate a symbiotic relationship Together every single being is affected Simply by being connected

Machines complete miraculous missions They landed men on the moon And act as the catalyst for ambition To fulfill every imaginable position

Lives are saved due to technology From astrology to biology Machines serve as an aide To display information arrayed

Yet the moon has a yin and yang The dark side is concealed Behind each diamond Is blood sweat and tears

Ones and zeros, communicating in binary Machines are rudimentary, plain Quite simple and ordinary However we forget they are inane

Machines are a double edged sword Whilst creating machines We inadvertently destroy The world we hope to improve

These creations are trusted, With every aspect of our lives As humanity we are busted Placing our life in inanimate boxes

Everything is known, everyone vulnerable Our individual privacy is nullified

Just through the connection of a cable Lack of security is amplified

We strangle ourselves With the very Ethernet cables We use to connect to the world

The irony is sharp as swords Machines, the epitome of life Strangle us with their cords Damage earth with rife

We can only dream Of ideas the future has in store Will machine life gleam? Or will it facilitate war?
