Atropine has not been part of the cardiac arrest algorithm for asystole or PEA since 2010. It never improved survival. Yet it still shows up in codes. In a pulseless patient, the priorities are compressions, epinephrine, and finding the cause.

In anaphylaxis, epinephrine goes in the outer thigh, not the arm. The thigh muscle absorbs it faster and more reliably. Use 1 mg/mL, 0.01 mg/kg up to 0.5 mg. Before you push, say the concentration and the volume out loud. The 0.1 mg/mL syringe is for cardiac arrest.

"Contiguous leads" doesn't mean printed next to each other. It means leads that see the same wall: V1-V4 front, II/III/aVF bottom, I/aVL/V5/V6 side. ST elevation in II, III and aVF is one story. In II and aVL, it isn't.

The first ECG in chest pain can look normal. That's not a pass. If symptoms continue, repeat it every 15 to 30 minutes. A STEMI can evolve right in front of you.
