If you see anything that RnDAO is doing or one of our ventures and think "oh, I wish I could make decisions there or own that and I would do XYZ" Come and join! Add your ideas and work to ours, expand on what we're doing, leverage our infrastructure and assets. Make it yours!

Does simply adding a token and a voting tool solves those challenges? Of course not. Unfortunately it's more complicated. We need to reinvent governance, task division, task allocation, rewards and compensation, and even legal and financial structures. The task is titanic

And we need to learn from non-web3 orgs and research. Not copy them, but learn from all these bodies of knowledge to avoid repeating history (like we do so often in DAOs e.g. representative democracy being considered a good gov model is failing to learn from democracy research)

We should not think about DAOs as companies; there are coordination mechanisms with purpose: 1. Secure the network 2. Fund public goods 3. Fight climate change 4. Provide p2p education 5. Support a cause 6. Pool money for insurance What is your favorite DAO and its purpose?

@bryankam @enduringscreens I recently started using Notion and it has some great options for creating chronological and linkable lists that you can make public so I was considering starting something similar next year to track and share what I'm reading, watching & listening to.

@chaserchapman I'm a fan of some notion of an administrative tax (similar to a VC fund) on people who hold tokens to ppl who actively participate in governance (e.g. delegates). Better aligns incentives IMO.
