the biggest things i took away from @juliahartz ‘s talk yesterday about founding @eventbrite : - keeping good relationships with your customers is what will help you survive anything - always be prepared to fail, no matter how big or how much revenue you’re making. there’s always a chance to die due to unforeseen circumstances - put everything into whatever it is you want to build but don’t put your life on pause. building is great but your life doesn’t need to end - internships are better when striving for experiences > brand names - be a fun person to be around. (this is my own observation) but this helps w all sorts of business relationships - competition will always be there, instead of panic, figure out what they do best and see what you can improve adding her to my role model list she’s so cool 😭
