i don’t miss every place i’ve been. sometimes i just remember the girl who existed there and all the little things she had to lose.
some memories know better than to ask for another round. they just linger, looking pretty, while i remember everything i had to become.
lights flickering, feathers flying, and everyone just making it work in real time. backstage was gloriously chaotic, the attitude was fully intact, and yeah, that one’s staying with me.
it started as a pile of feathers and backstage nonsense under very bright lights, then somehow turned into something that actually ate. plenty of attitude, plenty of memories.
