Delighted to see appeal dismissed by UKSC in Byers v Saudi National Bank (esp. the strong reasons of principle at [42]-[47]). Of course, the academics (Ben McFarlane, Charles Mitchell, etc.) had this all worked out years ago. Merry Christmas all!
