Next week’s challenge. Write a moon poem without using the word ‘moon’ or ‘lunar’. Make it new and really focus on an alternate take. Preferably write a poem about other moons in the Solar system other than our own. Imagistic, metaphorical & 90 words max. No tired descriptions.

Early stroll. A pile of sticks but no sign of the Big Bad Wolf. The white van carrying news slowly turns a corner. The sky looks well enough to receive visitors. I yawn as I walk, like an opera singer in a silent film. Streetlights as quotation marks around darkness.

#vss365 It's midnight; in a state of #sonder we exchange life stories. By 4 am, our souls too, leave us, shake hands mid-air & enter each others' bodies. At dawn, when we wake up, we go about living a different life. It would be ten years before we meet here, and do this again.
