Today I learned... The white man in this photo was Peter Norman from Australia who finished 2nd the 1968 200m final. Norman stood in solidarity with the American Black athletes. It was Norman who suggested, when discovered they only had 1 pair of gloves, to each wear one. (cont)

Just coined a new term*. "Employment dropout" : (meaning) 1. one who left a job. 2. one who got fired from a job. (like) MBA dropout, High school dropout, PhD dropout. (useage) "That stoner says he is an employment dropout. I bet he got fired." *not verified.
