“I had to make untold stories so that someone else could come along and tell them.” - I love this insight as a GM. It took me years to vaguely figure this out for myself, but I could never articulate it this succinctly.

Started using ensemble patches to sketch out an orchestral track tonight. I'm still very slow, but this let me work out the structure of the first minute of the track after an hour or so. This is definitely going into my regular workflow! #gameaudio #vgm #indiedev #gamemusic
