This poll from @338Canada has me feeling more comfortable. While @MayorPaterson has represented us well, & could be a strong MP, the party he stands with, w/ divisiveness, lack of respect, absence of truth telling & a leader who acts like a school yard bully has no home in #YGK.

Watching the sideshow in the HOC, is like watching US news, not surprising, as Conservatives have continually been leveraging strategies that have worked south of us: misinformation, theatrics, demonizing; all while not sharing any real strategies to address what concerns them.

If you get the chance, try to spend 15-20 minutes every day with an open book. Possibly a cup of tea or a cat on your lap, enjoying the silence around you, and the cacophony of interesting voices in your head. That usually preps me to face the coming insanity of the day.

#IndigenousVeteransDay They weren't yet considered to be "Persons". They did not have the right to vote. They did not have the right to leave the reserve without written permission from the Feds. Still - they fought for YOU.
