The Big Milestone in Amaravati That Unlocks India's Quantum Potential For decades, quantum computing lived mostly in theory a promise of exponential power that could solve problems classical computers could never touch. Read More: lnkd.in/gjSnv_vh

An insightful interview on @Analyticsindiam with Dr L. Venkata Subramaniam, CEO of @qbit_force, about Quantum Computing & Amaravati Quantum Valley #AndhraPradesh #Amaravati youtu.be/vfynkyq7icQ?si…

A quantum reference facility built in 90 days. 50,000 students registered for quantum programmes in a single week. And a 30-year @IBM veteran who walked away from software to build cryogenic hardware from scratch with zero prior experience. L Venkata Subramaniam (@folktechnology), Chief Executive of @qbit_force, joins AIM Front Page to break down what is actually being built in Amaravati, the roadmap to 100 indigenous quantum computers, why export controls still block India's chip fabrication ambitions, and what a 2029 encryption deadline means for national security. VIDEO | Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh: Launch of India’s first indigenous quantum system on World Quantum Day. Qbit Force, Durga Pritam Suggisetti says, “The biggest thing right now is that you are able to take photographs here freely. If you look at large companies elsewhere, you are often not allowed to take photos or even ask what they are building. Here, it is an open-access system. What we are doing is revolutionising technology. Earlier, even conventional computers were not accessible to common people. The same situation exists today with quantum computers. We want to ensure that students, researchers, founders and a majority of people are able to access quantum computers and work on hardware integration.”

Built in Amaravati. Built together. 🇮🇳 Grateful to our partners—Quantum Valley, National Quantum Mission, Qubitech, SRM AP—for enabling two open-access quantum systems. At Qbit Force, we led the design, build, integration & deployment of a Made-in-India quantum stack.

The Quantum Reference Facility spread across two locations, @SRMUAP in Amaravati and Medha Towers in Gannavaram, has been developed by QBit Force, @qbit_force, a deep-tech startup led by Founder & CEO, Dr. L. Venkata Subramaniam @folktechnology, a former IBM Quantum leader, who played a pivotal role in designing the end-to-end quantum hardware stack. At the centre of this effort is QU-414, a quantum characterisation facility operated by a startup called Qubitech @qubitech.

#QuantumRevolutionInAP From Constitution to Quantum. Andhra Pradesh has become the first Indian state to commission indigenous quantum computers on its soil today. Together with leading scientists, industry leaders, academia, and students, I inaugurated the first-of-its-kind Amaravati Quantum Reference Facilities (AQRF). Comprising Amaravati 1S (SRM University) and Amaravati 1Q (Medha Towers), these open-access platforms serve as fully instrumented hardware testbeds. AQRF enables the validation, benchmarking, and certification of quantum components under real operating conditions. This is a major step towards the indigenous manufacturing of quantum computers, strengthening India’s self-reliance in advanced technologies and contributing to AtmaNirbhar Bharat. It also enhances India’s capabilities under the National Quantum Mission envisioned by Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji. Today, April 14, marks the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Babasaheb believed that education is the true tool of liberation. It is also World Quantum Day. We honour his vision by bringing quantum computing within reach of every Indian student, researcher, and startup, ensuring that no Indian is denied access to the frontiers of human knowledge. Grateful to all academic and industry partners for their collaboration. @narendramodi @IndiaDST @SRMUAP #NQM

VIDEO | Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh: Launch of India’s first indigenous quantum system on World Quantum Day. Scientist Subhash Kalidindi says, “Qbit Force Quantum is building India’s first indigenous quantum computer and testbeds. We are here to build the quantum ecosystem and to ensure that next-generation quantum systems are developed. This will allow testing of various components, whether wiring, chips or other materials. You can bring them here, test them, evaluate different materials and get them certified.”

VIDEO | Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh: Launch of India’s first indigenous quantum system on World Quantum Day. Dr Venkata Subramaniam, CEO, Qbit Force, says, “This level of speed has not been achieved anywhere, as far as I know. In the last 15 days, we have been putting these systems together, and this pace has been possible because of strong government support. The Andhra Pradesh government has extended every possible assistance. Secondly, under the National Quantum Mission, institutions such as the Indian Institute of Science, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, IUAC and IIT Bombay have all come together. This has been a truly cooperative effort, where years of research from different institutions have been combined to build this system... So, I believe even this year, you will start seeing results where students will produce better components than what is inside these computers today.”
