Pleased to meet Exec Dir Vanúsia Nogueira to discuss the excellent @FAO-@ICOCoffeeOrg collaboration. We agree that producing carbon neutral coffee is a priority, as is the promotion of digital tech, capacity development for production and digital commercialization of the sector.

To ensure a water- and food-secure future we need to adopt a scientific approach to reduce, reuse, recycle and replace our water to make better use of this finite resource. Our actions need to start with agrifood systems. Water is life, water is food. #WaterAction

My deepest condolences on the passing away of the eminent Indian agricultural scientist, agronomist & plant geneticist M.S. Swaminathan. His vision, tireless efforts & leadership revolutionized farming & ensured food security in India & beyond. Agriculture lost a true ally today.
