Day job in tech. Not a developer. AI agents build my side project at night. I post the tools I test, the exact prompts and the real numbers. $11/mo so far. 🎯⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ Joined February 2026-

413 agent sessions in 14 days ran without their instructions, and I only noticed because they kept "forgetting how we work". My scheduled jobs started in the wrong folder, so Claude Code never loaded its rules or memory. The fix was one line: change to the home folder first.
I haven't sold this. It's a framework and 1 dry run, and I still have a day job. If you run a small business and someone offers you an AI strategy, ask which single job it takes off your desk in 30 days.
Fifth, the owner must be able to leave. The files, the instructions and the runbook are theirs from day 1. Small businesses have been locked into software for 30 years. An AI consultant shouldn't be the next lock.
At my day job I decide and specify what gets built. At night I've been working out how a small or medium-sized business should get ready for AI. My conclusion: it doesn't need an AI strategy. It needs 1 job taken off the owner's desk. My reasoning is in the replies.
In January I installed OpenClaw on a Mac mini to run my side project around the clock. It crashed a lot and ate my nights. In June I uninstalled it. What replaced it is plain scheduled jobs on the same Mac mini. Each one starts an agent, does one thing and stops.
I get 3 to 4 hours a day for my side project, and I was spending part of it asking Claude Code "still running?" Every long job now starts with this: "Watch this job yourself. If it stalls, restart it. Message me only when it's finished or when I must decide, and say which."
20 App Store rejections across 8 apps in 8 months. I sorted them into 13 patterns. 6 of the 13 had nothing to do with code: - privacy link - purchase not attached - no demo login - terms link - expired agreement - the word "free" in a screenshot
WFH with my partner today. She lasted until lunch. Apparently three hours of me saying 'no, that's not what I meant' to an AI isn't cozy background noise.
@DanielSmidstrup Will checks this out! Let’s connect 🙏🏻
MCP or API? I wired the same keyword tool both ways and kept both. The API sits inside a script that runs on a schedule, where nobody is watching and it must be exact. The MCP sits in the chat for when I'm the one asking. Scheduled work gets the API, conversations get the MCP.
Next project: agent orchestration. Playing around with an old iPad device to have an overview of all the agents working including my to-do, business pulse and social media pipeline. Anyone with similar setup? 🤩
@oi_sady Connected! Let’s follow each other’s journey!
@norbroheim Obsidian is great for sure, but curious to see if any have examples where you don’t need to introduce another software tool to the stack
Anyone out there have experience with implementing a second brain in real Small/medium sized business and dare to share their approach? I see many posts in here in fancy greenfield ways of doing it but curious to know whar actually works in a real brownfield case 🤷🏼♂️
