Resilient love is treating people with unconditional positive regard. Resilient love mantains boundaries including honesty, the law of cause and effect, and autonomy. It creates a helping relationship that allows for the opportunity for growth #SocialGraceWarrior #SGW
Tough love is treating people harshly claiming out of affection, convinced you know what is best for others. It lacks boundaries, crossing the boundary of the other through force, manipulation, and control. It can lead to associating love with abuse #SocialGraceWarrior #SGW
