🧵1/5 On the topic of Ethereum client diversity in light of the Nethermind bug going around. The solution is not move away from geth (84%). Remember, it's not geth, but Nethermind that has the bug. Imagine if that was reversed. The real reason that most validators still rely on geth is because it's more stable, and robust than any other client.
@cryptoQuoc FFS I truly hope you dont have any role that is important. Nethermind blowing up cost = a few dollars. Geth blowing up due to supermajority= 22 Million Eth slashed within 12 minutes. The solution IS to move away from geth you fundamentally dont understand the issue.
@ralwart1 Validators are forced exit after 1 ether, that's like after weeks of missed attestation. beaconcha.in/validators/sla… stakefish have fallback validators which we immediately fallback to either automatically or manually if we encounter a bug.
