The individual is armed with he owns numerous firearms including two AR rifles and a pistol on top of some type of building complex or apartment building, firing multiple rounds at people and at Los Angeles police. Multiple streets have been shut down, and police are urgently asking nearby residents to shelter in place and avoid the area. This situation is still developing.

“An arrest team was assembled, and the suspect was located and taken into custody without further incident at approximately 1 a.m. [Sunday],” the department said.
