#TBT to this job back In February of 2019 in Brunswick, Md. This fire presented significant challenges as it ran the cockloft of three adjacent buildings. One of my last as a wagon driver-didn’t pump water but got plenty of action on 2nd floor and attic. #fireshowing @FrankMalta2

Retired FDNY Battalion Chief John Salka with a message that we all need to remember: "It's about them." The citizens come first. The Chief says, "I don't know why you want to be a fireman if you don't want to take care of everyone ahead of yourself."
