@galadrielle777 @cirqlr MDZS is Mo Dao Zu Shi, a Chinese novel that’s been adapted in many forms (webtoon/manhua, animated series/donghua, live action [the Untamed], audio drama). The novel has also been officially translated to English now. I hyped the show on @threepatch here three-patch.com/casefiles/112-…

It's done!!! My first ever real wangxian fic. I wrote this in like five days because I was seized with some kind of "straight" "boy" wwx fever, I hope you have as much fun reading it as I had writing it 💕 (link in reply)

Catching up on my reading. This one was SO GOOD. Definitely waking a certain familiar warmth from days spent reading Victorian epistolary fic.

#HAPPYLWJDAY FIC IS HERE!!! 📝 wangxian, cql canon divergence 📝 30k | explicit 📝 it is not nhs's fault that all of wwx's partners in his dirty letters resemble lwj! and it's definitely not his fault that his brother accidentally had those letters delivered to cloud recesses!!!

I’m really at a loss to describe in 280 characters how much I loved this, how much I admire it, the chemical reactions I had to this high octane pining, this love story, this metaphor. Holy shit. Heed tags but wow. Just wow. And..hot?? I feel so unworthy. archiveofourown.org/works/28555047

So good I needed to yell about it. Premise seems more romcom than it is, which is a gentle unfolding of a lifelong love story, which is also hot and horny, featuring therapy. LWJ POV, wangxian. So well done. Heed tags, especially about the parental suicide archiveofourown.org/works/29471964

@blackwiresgrow Ahhh okay! I’ll see if I can manage it then, all my recordings would need to be basically middle of the night cuz, um, pesky kids. No promises again but I’ll be in touch if I manage to put anything together!!

Okay, here it is: the most confusing thing I've ever attempted to create. Witness me. A college *and* GBBO AU where WWX competes but doesn't tell anyone until the show starts airing. The kids in his dorm lose their collective minds. archiveofourown.org/works/27801115/

@blackwiresgrow I could stop thinking about it one way or the other if you had an answer for me. Uhh but no pressure either way. 😅

@blackwiresgrow It’s so good!!! I’m on a discord where we’ve been screaming about it, we all hope it gets more attention and love. And God I’ve been dreaming of podficcing it (??) because I collect too many projects?? Is that—a thing you’d be okay with in theory? No promises but maybe—

@varnesbutworse The modern AUs in this fandom continue to blow my mind. The quality, my god (more than the weirdness, I’ve probably always been on board with weird). I’m just flattened. And this! Came in novel length and pining LWJ POV?? In my city? Tailor made for squeezing my heart. Kudos x ♾

Very much not over how unexpectedly incredible this fic is. SNL AU by the instant author-sub @varnesbutworse. Funny, angsty, loving, hot, a real triumph of adaptation and fusion I loved more with every chapter. Fic at its best. #TheUntamed #wangxian archiveofourown.org/works/26477257

The author's account seems to be sadly inactive/deleted right now? So here is the fic link and info, which isn't currently deleted, but ummm ngl I just now downloaded it to be very safe. archiveofourown.org/works/26933377

This fic absolutely ended me in the best possible way and it's been a couple days and I'm still on a bender with author's other fics now, please respect my need for privacy at this time. But for this: LWJ POV angst is my absolute jam and I can't sing the praises here enough.

@occultings I definitely am! Just making my way through slower than I normally would because it's a busy week for me, but I am! I'm sure I'm populating your kudos emails soon if I'm not already though. Thank you for sharing, it's seriously like an instant favorite.

So hard to type this without just cursing. This is SO GOOD. And so short?? The longing, the time fuckery, the connection, the breaking. Strong elements of the Time Traveler’s Wife angst. Book spoilers (including the Phoenix Mtn kiss). #untamed #wangxian archiveofourown.org/works/26934343
