Johnson on why he’s willing to risk his job to send aid to Ukraine: “Look, history judges us for what we do. this is a critical time right now… I can make a selfish decision and do something that is different but I'm doing here what I believe to be the right thing. … I think providing lethal aid to Ukraine right now is critically important. … I’m willing to take personal risk for that.”
I think @SpeakerJohnson johnson was a plant at best and/or a traitor at worst. He came out of nowhere “the perfect candidate”. He was “pious” in everything he said. He’s a “devout Christian” my a**. He needs to go STAT but we must keep the House. If waiting till November is what we have to do.. so be it. We just need to think of the speaker like we are working with pelosi problem is if election comes down to congress deciding. We are “Fooked” He’s Biden’s boy.
@reesejgorman @MuellerSheWrote Speaker Johnson has held off being principled now for three months, while Ukrainians died and Russia advanced on the battlefield. I award him no points for this.
@reesejgorman Where was @SpeakerJohnson earlier? Why has he been delaying aid for so long?
@reesejgorman @MuellerSheWrote Does he have the votes? Nancy wouldn’t bring it to the floor if she didn’t have votes. Are Republicans gonna vote for this?
@reesejgorman @MuellerSheWrote It's a con. Senate GOP will filibuster it.
@reesejgorman Maybe the letter from the Southern Baptists pastors helped?
@reesejgorman The Orange One must have decided that withholding aid from Ukraine would hurt him in the election. Everything the GOP does now is in service to their leader.
@reesejgorman Why the hell is Johnson willing to risk his job to send aid to a foreign country but he won’t do one dagum thing about our border?
