Freedom of speech is nothing I take lightly, but it cannot violate the rights of our families, friends and neighbors. All Americans have a right to be heard, but blocking traffic in this manner, not only creates safety concerns, but continues to show the lack of respect for the thousands of lives that are disrupted. Sadly, illegally blocking our roads is becoming quite a pattern--first shutting down I-5, now Sea-Tac airport. When a protest is imposed on everyone else’s freedom, it’s neither lawful nor justified. komonews.com/news/local/pro…
@reichert4gov @BrandiKruse @bird4governor So what will you do when they create an autonomous zone in downtown Seattle and guard it with weapons?
@reichert4gov Ok…. So as governor how would you handle this situation???
@reichert4gov And, what are you going to do about it? Please tell me it's not the Ridgway plan in which you take 19 years and 71 murders to find a solution that someone else did for you?
@reichert4gov Here is your opponent's response: x.com/bird4governor/…

But let's not focus on the fact that these protesters are exercising their right to free speech and bringing attention to a complex and sensitive issue. Let's just condemn them for causing a traffic jam and move on with our lives. Because that's the kind of leadership we need in our elected officials - people who are more concerned with traffic flow than with addressing the underlying issues that lead to protests in the first place.
@reichert4gov Spoken like a liberal who wants to sit on the fence.
@reichert4gov Tom Cotton from Arkansas was being interviewed on Fox News. He said that if that crap happened in Arkansas there would be a lot of wet protesters 😜
