Dover is English. Dover is in Kent, English law still applies here. Ward and watch, hue and cry: old common-law duties of the people to keep the peace and raise the alarm. To be clear: You have an ENGLISH constitutional right (domestic constitution) English Bill of Rights 1688 and international convention rights. This is in full force for both local and parliamentary elections. 1. Article 8 English Bill of Rights “freedom of election” 2. Universal suffrage - You have the right to stand and be elected and not be removed. The right to participate in local government and national government by way of universal suffrage UN declaration art 21 and human rights convention protocol 1, art 3 3. You have the right not to be discriminated against for being English (national or ethnicity).
