Okay, I had assumed it was a jury issue. The reason is even more awful.
At least he remains in prison for now. But arguably is it the case that he will never have a fair trial? I have no idea about the US system, but is it possible for Judge only instead of jury? But far out. What a kick in the guts to every single survivor today.
