@rickbrewPDN haha same! I walked up to some dude at the beginning of starfield, he starts some boring story about some guild and I already checked out. JFC, the same old garbage. With BG3 even a talking cat had more interesting things to say :D
@rickbrewPDN I fear you're right. Starfield showed how wrong they are wrt what clicks in the modern game world. It all feels so sloppy, so uninspired. They had the show hype right there, all they had to do was release something good, but instead they fumbled it, like they didn't care.

We're talking Microsoft's biggest game studio here. A studio who botched this update release so much that they couldn't plan it to release with the TV show, but 2 weeks later. All the while not adding anything substantial. Oh and they broke all mods so it's actually worse.
In case you're wondering if Bethesda has added any upgrades to the Fallout 4 game version they shipped today: if you switch on your audio device (like headphones) after starting the game, you get no sound. Because it's still 1996 and we all have SB AWE32's according to Bethesda.

I know I posted it recently but since it came up in conversation today, here's an unused concept for the Quest for Glory IV box, via the @museumofplay and @guywelch2000
I would like to see Microsoft come up with a free or very low cost signing service that only works on Windows, doesn't require business ID verification, and perhaps requires programs to be uploaded to a sandboxing service before allowing them to be signed.

I join you in hoping this new service from MS puts the code signing part of their business into the ground.

@shanselman I've been the private preview of this (formerly "Azure Code Signing") since August and it's been a godsend. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get or renew a code signing certificate from @Sectigo, @ComodoSSLstore , @digicert ? 😢😠 And how expensive!?!?

@Steve_MSFT @BoreanJordan The new certificates from Azure Trusted Signing encode a unique publisher ID in the leaf certificate which is meant to provide a strong way to pin publishers rather than the certificate itself, that's how it would likely have to be validated
For everybody that has waited for Azure Code Signing.. It is now available in public preview on Azure 🎉🧙♂️📣🥂. The name changed to Trusted Signing! And the @ImageMagick team is using it to sign it's binaries and the @Windows installers.
