Needless to say, becoming acutely aware of our own mortality not only leads to our treasuring every moment with loved ones but also gives us the clarity to enjoy every single moment we have with them. Life isn't long enough for love, which is the most important thing in our lives

I measured my weight after a week-long holiday. Thankfully, I put on around 1kg. I realized again that a loss in weight begins with portion control.

I love the Bible verse "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens - Ecclesiastes 3:1 [NIV]". I feel things may be referred to as the march of hardship now. Thus, I decided to learn the virtue of patience after simply changing my strategy.

One of my juniors seemed to think he was not young enough to learn Japanese. So I told him that one of my acquaintances who was over 50 years old began learning Japanese, and then she finally started to enjoy her trip to Japan after studying Japanese very hard for almost 2 years.

We know that promises are there to be kept. Nevertheless, we are less likely to keep our promises. Yes, we should not be a liar.

It's been 10 years since I stopped using KakaoTalk. Instead, I indulged in reading a wide range of books. During that time, I read more than 3,000 books.

It seemed like a boiling hot day lasted forever. By the way, the situation has suddenly changed. It took as many as 34 days to turn off the air conditioner during the night.

It’s been a week since I started playing table tennis for my diet. To my surprise, I lost weight as much as 2.3 Kg. I think there is no reason not to do it.

I have been offered a part-time job as a tour guide by some of my acquaintances. They said to me, "Please be our tour guide on a trip to Japan. We are willing to shoulder your entire cost including airfare and accommodation." I really appreciate your offer, but I can't accept it.

Unfortunately, I can't go anywhere else outside of Korea for at least four months. In fact, there are so many benefits of the Japanese weak yen these days when it comes to traveling abroad. Nevertheless, I can't even dream of visiting Japan to reunite with my Japanese friends. TT

I used to only focus on reading a book quickly so I enjoy a wide variety of books. By the way, it didn't actually take much time to realize that a simple but effective way to read as many books as possible is to stay away from digital devices such as iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks.

What kind of efforts have you been making to have a positive impact on those around you? As an optimist, I am trying not to make the error of underestimating the power of saying "Thank you" & "I am sorry" anywhere, anytime. As always, I really appreciate what you've done for me.

I didn't know at all that riding a bicycle is a very fun and exciting thing to do this much. Why don't we try going out & riding a bike even though there will be intermittent rain showers here in Suwon, Korea? I just think it would be fun Parade! #flickr flic.kr/p/2oMJJF8

A woman approached me slowly and quietly while I was taking some pictures of the scenery. All of sudden, she started saying to me, "Would you take a photo of us please?" Thankfully, it seemed that they are very pleased with a few photos of them that I took with their iPhones. ^^

Everything you see is not always true. Nevertheless, I don't think we have to be a pessimist under any circumstances at all. ^^
