In Quant, your ROI must be paired with the downside risk and it must be tested on out-of-sample backtest. So in between the Alpha (return) and Max Drawdown (risk), It’s Sharpe Ratio. Don’t measure other trader’s Alpha, measure their Sharpe Ratio.
Most trader try to find one good setup to eat all year But they ended up have to work more than a normal year Where is the mistake?

You trader keep guessing. Market is math! Market is efficient. When market imbalances, eventually it will find it’s line. The noise is volatility. And we can measure volatility through quant. Any reason why aren’t you still on Quant?
