Finished "Musicking" still reeling w/ thought! My last blah blah will probably be a controversial piece. My final..marching bands, baby!

Noticed Friday that the guard members automtically walk in step when they hear music of any kind. I still do, and my last parade was 1987!

Oct 10 band competition in Fayette. Colorguard always look better when the band plays well. Counting to 8 is tough when drums can't agree.

My human experience today includes: historical museum walk back in time, sponsor homecoming hall decorations, Vinny's football game...etc.

Wishing for more than 24 hrs in a day. I'm giving up on this "extra" day...I just didn't get enough done, even though I didn't get a break!

Trying to get the hang of blah blah blah.

Got home from Vin's baseball game. Jake has been in bed since 6:30 this evening w/ fever. Just praying these sleeping pills kick in SOON!

Finishing up homework and eating dinner. Who says I can't multitask? Yesterday's annual party/hog roast was a blast. Approx 125 came out!

First time on the computer for over a week. Going through the "first steps" for the class that started...oh...three days ago!

Baker email is down. Can't load that "one last assignment". Too late to call the professor...sigh. Going to Overland Park campus tomorrow!

Post fireworks. Cup of coffee. Two final baseball games later today. One last assignment to post for HUM5500. New class starts tomorrow.

Catching up on HUM5500 assignments. Summer school is finally over and kids are at camp. Finally have a few days to buckle down.

Going crazy! Too many things to do each day. Not enough time to call the helpdesk EVERY day! Anybody else ever dealt with those guys?

Trying to get through Amusing Ourselves to Death. Building curriculum for my new Media Literacy class in the fall...some relevance here!

Two sons. One baseball tournament. Six games today. No internet and no electric outlets at either field. Guess it's time for handwriting...

Trying to find classmates on Twitter. Catching up on a some of the assignments for this AND last week. Haiku...here I come!

Worked on homework all day. I still have 2 papers to write! Got to prepare for meetings at Central Office in the a.m. Papers have to wait.
